I had BP Chase, but they changed their program. Bp only gives cash back on gas only. I dont fly much, so I am looking for cash back or gift cards. Your thoughts.

I have the BP one too, since they turned their program to crap i haven't used it and wont. Now i use the chase freedom, get 1 % all the time and select 5% rewards, this qtr it's 5% on gas and rest. Obviously, you need to pay off each month or any interest will eat up the rewards.

Chase Sapphire is good. No annual fee and good rewards program. 1% cash back on all purchases. Usually 5% back on stuff like dining out and travel.

Discover has some good ones, Chase Freedom, and Bank of America Cash Rewards. The last one gives 3% back on gas all the time, 2% on Groceries, and 1% everything else. Those are the free ones. If you don't mind an annual fee Amex Blue card is really good.

I have used discover, citicard, american express but the US Bank Flex Perks platinum package is the best I have found. 1.5% on everything and 2% on groceries and other things, also only need to use 20,000 miles for flight up to $400 on many airlines (american express is 35,000 miles for a flight), you can also use points for cash, gift cards or merchandise. They also give you points for signing up and bonus points for certain spend levels.

I just checked their web site. That US Bank card looks like a great deal. What is the interest rate they charge on balances?

Penfed, Fidelity, and schwab all have good cash back cards.

Amex Platinum is great for airline clubs

Amex Delta reserve is great if you fly delta a lot and want upgrades.
