I do. The Team here is only a A Affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, but the field is a replica of Fenway with the Green Monster and all. Really great Lawn area with a great playground for kids on one side, and a "500 Club" for the adults on the other. Great atmosphere for cheap and fun entertainment. Can't beat $1 Beer Thursdays.

I go to all kinds of minor league and B level sports. They are much more appreciative of the fan base and much more personable. I have brought younger cousins, sister in law (12) and the players will talk to fans after the game. Give autographs and joke around with the kids. Hell, half of them are kids themselves.

Closest I've been to are the long island Ducks. So I'm guessing since you are in NJ you go to a few Somerset Patriots games ??
That's Sparky Lyle's Team, and have won a few Titles....

That's the team the Ducks were playing back when i saw them.

Las Vegas 51's give one hell of a fireworks show on Fireworks Night. The ballpark is a little dated but all in all a great night out with the fam. Sometimes they put this signed jersey out on the grass infield and you can buy a package of eight tennis balls all numbered, people then throw their tennis balls out in the field and the one closest to the jersey wins prizes. Then there is a free airline ticket/trip giveaway and what they do is they pass out a standard letter sized paper to all the crowd, you fill in your contact info, make it into a paper airplane, then a truck drives all the way around the inner ballpark and people throw their paper airplanes in the bed of the truck. It's funny watching that truck get pelted with paper airplanes.

Went to two LV 51 games when I was on vacation LV.
And back when I was living in Germany, watched 1st and 2nd division games over there. Guess the level of play wouldn't even be considered (close to) High A ball :):) But during summer just a nice pastime if it comes with bbq and some cold ones...

I go see the Stone Crabs, which is single A of the Ray's. They just re-did the park and it is beautiful. I was lucky to throw out the first pitch a couple of weeks ago. we also like to go on Thursday's 2 bucks for 16 oz. bottles. Great time.

Las Vegas 51's (Triple A of the Toronto Blue Jays) deserve a much better field and stadium. The 51's used to be the Triple A affiliate of the LA Dodgers but the Dodgers opted out of Las Vegas because of poor facilities. It's a shame that lower farm teams have better facilites than a Triple A affiliate like the 51's. It's been proposed a number of times to have a new stadium built and even Henderson was going to make a run at building a new stadium but then the economy took a dump and the topic faded away. I resented that because the proposed site was going to be near my house.

I have a box with the South Bend Silverhawks. Go about 5 times a year and give it to clients or Boys and Girls club the rest of the time. Great place!

Been to a few LV51 games and it's always a good time.

occasionally go to New Britski to watch the Rock Cats (Twins), but less and less since the kids have grown up

Mauer, Morneau, Hunter, Kubel, Garza, Plouffe and so many other MLB players played there

before the Twinkies played there, it was the Red Sox. Clemens, Schilling, Bagwell and Vaughn to name more

it the late 90's the Twins played an exhibition game there. Was fun watching MLB players in a 5,000 seat stadium.

When I lived in Jacksonville I'd go quite a bit. The team is the Jacksonville Suns and they play in the Southern League (AA ball). They built a new stadium 10 years ago and they have led the Southern League in attendance for the last 9 straight years. They have "Thirsty Thursday" ($1 beer night) as well....and draws a huge crowd. The stadium is supposed to be a miniature Camden Yards. Very nice. Lots of parking, near the Jaguars stadium downtown.

Minor league baseball is one of the best pro-sporting events one can attend.

There is a low-level college wood-bat summer league here in Alexandra, VA (the Alexandria Aces). I haven't been to a game, but was hoping to make one before the season is over (which is very soon)....

We've done weekend road trips to Des Moines to catch the AAA Iowa Cubs play. Nice ballpark and very affordable prices to take the family to. Also have seen the Las Vegas 51s and before that the Las Vegas Stars a while back. Tempted to check out the Twins single A team in Beloit, Wisconsin to see the Beloit Snappers this summer.
