It is now official, Bodog closed its antigua operations, and claims to be moving it to the phillipines, due to cost effectiveness.

If the main reason is cost effectiveness, then I say crappola.

It is known that a few years ago, bodog sent home many of the antiguans who were qualified for the jobs, and brought in many persons from ireland and other countries.

they paid for the tickets to antigua, paid for housing and cars and gave higher salaries and still had to pay for work permits for these people. Go figure. And the managers were hiring their buddies who were not as qualified or equally qualified yet they fired the local persons. Good luck bodog, with practices like that how far are you gonna go.

and they were SERIOUS about those freaking work permits.....and they were EXPENSIVE, I remember that, back in 99 when I went to AG, they were like 3-4 USD for one year.
