17. Jan Heitmann - 6,390,000 (53 bb)

Well known (at least in the German poker community) German player from Munich, had some decent finishes in EPT events, cashed 6 figures in an UK poker event and I think was also a runner-up at the pokerstars Sunday million once. Coaches celebrities for a (semi-regular, pokerstars sponsored) 6-man SnG TV event on German TV. He's also pretty good friends with George Danzer, who finished 2nd and 3rd in two WSOP events this year (Danzer might even be the best (at least non Holdem) German poker player currently.

Was rooting for a friend of mine, but unfortunately he busted around 110th place (lost 88<66)

Volpe has played in many of the same events I have played in @ the borgata and has 6 figures in earning both live and online if I'm not mistaken.

There are quite a few younger Internet beasts still in. These guys may not have the name recognition as some of the well known "pros" but the quality is still there.

Merson is an absolute beast. This guy is extremely respected along the circuit. Ausmus is also a well respected player.

Gaelle Baumann - 10th Place

Gaelle Baumann moved all in for 5.2 million from the hijack seat, Andras Koroknai called in the small blind, and Michael Esposito folded from the big blind.

Koroknai:

Chants of "Nine! Nine! Nine!" filled the mothership before the flop fell

. Baumann could now chop with a three or any running pair cards.
The crowd erupted at the sight of the
8s.gif
on the turn, even though it didn't pair Baumann. The last woman standing could only be saved by a nine (win), a three (chop) or an eight (chop).
The

completed the board, and the rail exploded. Those who made the official final table celebrated, while Baumann's French contingent fell momentarily silent.
Then, for one last time, the crowd serenaded her with chants of "Gaelle Baumann."
The Octo-Nine is now set, and we will have full chip counts for you shortly.
