Anyone else watching this? I'm not a huge fan of the politics, but I do like the way it's written - very quickly-delivered dialogue. It's created by Aaron Sorkin (Social Network, Sportsnight, etc).

Just a follow-up... If anyone hasn´t given The Newsroom a shot, i´d highly suggest checking it out. They had an episode a few weeks back that touched on the Gabrielle Giffords shooting, and it contained some of the best television I have ever seen. The politics won´t be for everyone, so I can see some folks not digging it - but the cast is amazing and the writing is superb (and I don´t even like Aaron Sorkin).

Right now it's my favorite show on TV. Well written too. Aaron Sorkin is a bigtime liberal, but the main character played by Jeff Daniels is/was a conservative. Something tells me that even though he has been on the attack against some conservative groups up to now, everybody will be fair game by the time it's over. I agree about the Gabriele Gifford episode. That may be the best TV drama that I've ever seen.

I used to like the show, now i love it. Fast paced and has a good amount of laughs to go along with having a good story. I still watch Breaking Bad sunday nights over Newsroom, but its the first show i watch after that. The kid who was in Slum Dog Millionare is pretty funny and Jeff Daniels was great last week after eating the pot brownies/cookies/whatever it was
