I know there are many athletes that do these kinds of things but unless its right in your town, you usually don't hear about it. Steve Weatherford, punter for the NY Giants is one of those athletes. Weatherford held his 3rd annual free football camp this past weekend at Terre Haute North High School, where he graduated. Weatherford has been comming back to Terre Haute for years donating, making appearances, and basically just doing whatever it takes to give back to the community where he grew up. I think its great when an athlete gives up his time to do these kind of things to help others. Im sure others on here have similar stories about athletes who come back to their hometowns and give their time for good causes.
