Is there even any reason to go there anymore? You never hear anyone ever say "Lets go to Atlantic City".

Has anyone been there? What is there to do there other than go and gamble in the casinos...

I have heard stories about Atlantic City and about how it is a place where they are not very forgiving if you make questionable maneuvers at the blackjack table...

Still a good time, everyone on here seems to trash it but ac is still a nice place to get away to for a few days IMO. If you're a poker player the borgata is one of the best places to play in the country. Some of the best restaurants in the country as well.

Well it has the boardwalk and beach which could make it more desirable of a destination than the backwoods of CT , at least in the summer. I haven't been there in almost 30 years personally.

Well, back in the day, i know you could get a ticket from philly for around 17 dollars and got it back in a coupon when you got to AC for food or play the machines. I remember walking into a casino and seeing alot of older retired folks and all I heard was the coins dropping from the machines, not sure if its the same, since alot of casinos use these tickets now instead of coins

There's nothing wrong with AC. Just another casino for people to gamble at.

Have not even thought of going there since Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun opened. Used to fill up buses with drunken degenerates and invade AC a few times a year prior to the Indians opening up. Would probably go back if they legalized sports betting just for the novelty of it and a change of scenery.
