Its tough to find a common ground politically here but I think we can all agree nobody needs a magazine so they can pretend they are bringing their COD or RFOM video game fantasy to life.

I am trying to find out by www searching how many deaths per year there are in the US per year as a result of a HIGH (more than 10 round) magizine weapon. My guess is the number is under 2000??
Is it any wonder we have so much gun violence in this country? Kids play Vid games from age 3 up, that are P to P killing games. The POPULAR movies that teen boys watch are almost always "action" movies, that show people killing each other with guns.
IMO, the problem isn't "guns", the problem is our society and how little we value life. 12 people die and our country is in a rage (as they should be), but how many died this week because they didn't have proper medical care, or food? How many babies were aborted? How many children were abused , or sex slaves?
The Colorado situation will get bunches and bunches of people all upset, but in 3-4 days they will forget, and drive past the hungry homeless person and not give it a second thought.

Just because this type of crazy shit happens every few years doess not mean the millions of people that own those type of guns should have to give them up.
It is already against the law to kill people is it not. So more loaws to make people "feel" safer will not work.

I agree......or lets add up all the people that will be killed in Chicago, Detroit, Flint, Saginaw Camden. Where is all the outrage over all the poor people that got killed simply from living in a poor area of the country. Like you said how many babies got aborted the last 2 days. The "Right" to bear arms is not about the right for each person to own a gun....Go read the document. Its about the right of the people to overthrow a tyrannical government and having the ability to do so. So going strictly by the constitution it shouldnt even be illegal to own a nuclear weapon if your an American citizen. Anything the Govt has the people should have also.
