What the hell is the NCAA thinking. 600 million in fines.....no Bowls for 4 years.....taking away all the wins since 1998.....letting current players transfer with no waiting a year?

Whats going on here. You'd think it was Joe Pa that was in that shower. These people take down a stature of a man who's done so much for the University. People are getting carried away with this incident.

LOl So much for the University. LOL WTF is wrong with you. He let little kids get abused while he did nothng. The "program" was more important than the kids safety. The program needs to get the smackdown and that what they got

I disagree, they should have gotten hit harder, the head coach, the A.D, the University President who else new about this for over 11 years. Not sure if you have children, but I do and this is not enough.....the death penalty is what should have happened in my opinion.

I think it's awesome. Only thing that would be better is if he were still alive living with the pain of cancer while watching his legacy get shit on.

Joe Pa was in the shower, when he forceably retired sansusky, but still allowed him to bring little kids around, then did nothing when more allegations surfaced, he became an accomplice in the crimes..

This punishment was basically the death penalty in drag. Everything but shutting down the football program. But PSU will probably be crippled for the next 10 years. So just as bad imo. They deserved everything they got. It wasn't just Joe Pa involved in this coverup, it was almost the entire upper staff for 13 years. Which is just as bad.

If you agree that Paterno didn't do the right thing and turn in his friend....then the sanctions are just about perfect.

I'm ok with it.... just real sorry for the kids that go to the college. They did nothing. The football players that have been there for 2 and 3 years now ... they did nothing wrong but in my opinion will suffer the most.

Joe Pa's old record: 409-136-3
Joe Pa's new record: 297-136-3

Bobby Bowden just went back ahead of Joe Pa with a 304-97-4 record. It woudn't surprise me if Bowden is walking around today with a smile on his face.

Bowden is saying "I'm back in dad gum first place. Hate it for those PSU folks, but dad gummit my career needed it."

A shame as his win loss record has nothing to do with the stupid decision he made. And again the kids suffer
