I wouldnt mock them if their beliefs didnt directly affect the life of everyone, why should I have to be affected by all the crazy stuff that happens in the world THANKS to religion
I am not gay but if I was I would find it unfair to live in a social system that gives people rights that I dont have simply because of my sexual orientation, seems that would be a way to be less generous since I paid my taxes same as everyone or no, isnt that being less generous?

I donate blood, I have the 2nd most sought after blood type....it can go into the veins of a war mongering maniac who insists that certain country has to be protected because "god" chosed them, it could go into a gay person, it could go into maniacs who were told that they had to crash planes, of course it won't go into the veins of a dying Mormon kid....that we know won't happen and its a shame but oh well....

to address your question, grouping them all together? should I not do that for some reason? I ask, what makes a religion different from the other in the big picture? give me an example of why I should not group them altogether, what does a specific religion does that the other doesn't
First of all, I never said I dont believe that God cant/wont personally speak to me. I said I have yet to hear an actual voice. There is a difference.
And if I ever did start hearing voices asking me to do evil things, I would know that isnt God.
Anyway, I have no desire to get into a "Does God exist" debate. I could more than hold my own with you. But I learned LONG ago, its a complete waste of time to have that sort of debate over the internet with a stranger that is hell bent on believing God doesnt exist.

they have instilled never ending wars, which are created by HUMAN factors....and disguised as a religious war.....'us' versus 'them' , this is clear in the bible, torah , koran etc , its 'US' versus 'THEM' , 'we' signed up with the right guy....the OTHERS are all WRONG and even though at parts they might be tolerated its clear that, when it comes to DEFINITIVE (black or white) issues such as 'owning this piece of land' WE have more right than the others BECAUSE our god TOLD US SO.
