Miami Marlins trade INF Hanley Ramirez and LHP Randy Choate to the Dodgers for RHP Nathan Eovaldi and RHP Scott McGough.

Initially, it might look like the trade heavily favors the Dodgers.

Taking everything into consideration, it might not be that uneven a trade.

Eovaldi is a very good prospect. McGough is an average prospect.

Ramirez hasn't done anything in two years and is owed $39 million for the remainder of this season and the next two seasons.

Ramirez is still only 28.

The trade does favor the Dodgers, but not by that much.

aAre the marlins fucking the people of Miami or what? Had them pay for this state of the art stadium and fire selling players. If they don't go get some talent this offseason and re-constructed the stadium will be empty again.

Ramirez is batting .486 with six homers, 18 RBIs and 20 runs during a 20-game hitting streak.

Hopefully Ramirez can single-handedly help the Dodgers overcome what looks like a lost season from Kemp.
