As a dodgers fan.. Should I be thrilled about getting Hanley Ramirez?

I'm sort of torn right now. What if he continues to be an average hitter than we're not really gaining anything.

Thoughts?

I think you are crazy if you arent thrilled man. Even if he hits like he has this year so far, you get a huge upgrade from Juan Uribe or whomever else has manned SS this year.

Plus a guy like Hanley has all the tools. A change in environment could really help him. He was unhappy in Florida ever since they traded for Reyes. Actually one could argued he has been unhappy there for a few years now.

Ramirez will have to have an attitude adjustment to help the Dodgers, which he might. Mattingly and the other Dodgers are winning and won't tolerate his sulking and whining in the press. On the other hand, giving up Eovaldi might be a mistake. He is kind of raw but could be a top of the rotation starter in a couple of years. Has great movement on his fastball. He's th guy I feel sorry for, traded to the Marlins.
