I don't know about you, but it seems that every time I turn on ESPN, 1 or 2, or NFL Live, all they seem to have is a series on the Jets! It's Sanchez this, and Tebow that, and Ryan this and that! He sure looks good with all that weight off. And speaking of weight, Tebow rounds out at 251 lbs. right now, and Sanchez has gained 12 lbs. working out with Tebow! WTF? 251 lbs/ is like a middle linebacker in the NFL. Sure could be great for the "wildcat" formation!

I mean that the way the are talking, why not give the Jets the Lombardi trophy right now? Isn't there a team in their division called the Patriots?

dude, the Patriots are the division

anyhow, I think with one Boomer and the other Boomer and little Mike and a coach the media loves has opposed to a coach they despise, the Jets just get a lot of hot air

did Rex Ryan guarantee a fourpeet yet? man's on a roll (not to be confused with him loving them rolls too)

They have a run-of-the-mill coach who happens to be a great talker, therefore they get too much attention. Hopefully, that'll be the case betting-wise and they'll be a good fade.

Not sure what you are talking about besides the Tebow thing which is obviously gonna be a huge storyline.

Besides that, Jets getting wayyyy less hype going into this year than last 2 years. Oddsmakers have them and the Bills rated about evenly.

Not sure what I'm talking about? I'm saying the Jets training camp reviews are on more than "Leave It To Beaver" reruns. Had to put a Jim Rome reference in.

tebow had a following last year a bit and this year if he returns kicks or runs the option/wildcat they will love to see what he can do.. if sanchez chokes another season away he will be benched officially (not saying tebow will start by any means afterwords)

Team has a top-end defense and a ball control offense that got much better with Tebow adding a new dimension and Sanchez continuing to improve. Last season was a down year but the team was a game away from the Super Bowl in both of the seasons prior. They are a legit contender. Top 6 type team. Only teams I'd say definitely rank ahead of them are the Patriots and the 49ers. Maybe the Packers who I consider more of a regular season team than a playoff team.

Jets are a .500 caliber team. Offense is mediocre at best....

Sanchez is terrible, lol.

Also not sure how the Packers are a regular season team when they just won the superbowl 2 years ago. Wow they lost to the Giants last year, so did everyone else.

Rodgers could probably take replacement players and beat the Jets by himself.

That is crazy talk. We'll see at the end of the season. I'd be shocked if they did better than 8-8.

thats the whole point of this thread. You don't see them blowing the Bills or Lions everyday. You don't see them nitpicking every throwing drill with no rush coming at them anywhere else. This is when ESPN sucks and they don't even know it. Just like with the Gruden QB garbage.

I guess, its a New York team with Tim Tebow. Obviously they are gonna be in the news but the last few years they were much more hyped.

Skip Smith wants to blow Tebow. I'm a Gator fan and really appreciate Tebow as an athlete...but I can be honest and admit he's not an ideal NFL QB. I think Skip just wants to piss off Stephen A.....

I would be shocked if they won more than 7 games and not shocked if they won less than 5 games.

The Bills and the Lions don't have the son of God on the team. All the hype is 90% Tebow and 10% Rex Ryan's big fat mouth.

No way in hell do the Jets make it in the playoffs.

While Jake is off on the Jets, they could easily go playoffs. The Bengals, Texans (tons of injuries) and Broncos all made the playoffs in the AFC last year. NFC is much stronger...

I think they are a 8-8 team but win some close games, good health, could easily go 11-5 in the AFC. Not too hard...
