Monday: Can't seem to put 2 good days together. 8 runs for Texas was about expected, but Oswalt's pitching was not- nor was the Angels suddenly hitting again. Change of venue I guess. Anyways, ugly day. YTD will be down in the 50s units.

Tuesday: Getting burned out on the long write-ups, and have to go back to work. Sorry about the shorter ones- maybe it'll help turn things around.

ATL-1. 4 units
ATL. -1/2 first 5 IPs. One unit. Medlen looks to be a great fill in. Great demeanor, knows how to pitch. How many times have we seen a god young pitcher have great first start? Most of the time, I think. The Braves are hot and have crushed Nolasco in the past. Marlins look in quit mode.

Milwaukee -1/2. First 5 innings. 2 units.
Milwaukee. RL. One unit. Can't trust either BP, but Keuchel is looking worse and worse as he starts more often. Now he's pitching in a hitter's park, with numerous HR hitters, and Keuchel gives them easily. Gallardo has had 2 rough outings, but there is nothing wrong, he has dominated these Astros' hitters, and the last 2 outings were against good hitting teams- Cinn and Wash. Astros road trip is about to get brutal.

NYY:-1. 2 units. Tillman has been atrocious vs. the Yankees, and he is overdue for one of his really bad outings. Also, Baltimore still not hitting very well, despite Monday's game. Nova has had quality starts going back 2 months, except 2 games to LAA. Orioles BP seems on the verge of falling apart.

Oakland. ML. 2 units. Millone has been god-like at home. Somehow Tampa has hung in there for many games on this West Coast trip, though their lack of hitting goes back many weeks. Shields has pitched better the last 2 weeks, but I just can't see him out pitching Millone- especially the way the A's have been hitting.

White Sox/ Minn: over 9. One unit.
White Sox: TT over 5? One unit. The White Sox own Blackburn, who is bad in his own right. I also think Liriano will be too jacked up to face his old club, coming off a horrendous start. Both of these clubs are hitting.

Mets: ML. 2 units. (+141)Harvey had 0-2 counts on almost every D-back in his last game. He has dominant stuff, nice change of speeds and a range of pitches. And that last game was against a hot hitting team, in a hitter's park. Now he faces a struggling team in a pitcher's park. The Giants are a mess, BP too. Lincecum's last 2 great starts at home were vs. Houston and the struggling Dodgers team of last month. His 5.88 says a lot.

Monday: 1-4, -5.5 units
YTD: 296-268, + 56.6 units

No line on Milwaukee first 5 so that play is in limbo now.
ATL -1. Upped to 5 units.

FWIW, got it on BetUS at -150....kind of a stinky line but not too many choices.

BOL everyone.
