2012 MLB O/U Record: 253-243-27, -$1,696 (Been making bigger bets this year, with countless fluke bad breaks, obviously)
2011 MLB O/U Record: 366-270-42, +$1,104

Very frustrating 1-2 performance yesterday when I could have been 3-0 or at least 2-1 (Or 4-1 or 5-0 because, as usual, I was flawless in my over/unders that I recommended without betting on). After all, I could not have been anymore right about that David Price vs AJ Griffin under, considering both guys were excellent and I even guaranteed that the worst-case scenario would be seven total runs, which it turned out to be with a 4-3 final, but unfortunately, the line was 6.5, so I was rewarded with a “loss,” thus adding to my country-leading number of over/under “losses” by a half or full run. And in Bud Norris vs Marco Estrada, I had the under locked up when it was 2-0 in the seventh inning, only forthe bullpens to melt down and inexplicably turn it into a shootout. Yes, obviously it happens - but as usual, I just question WHY it happens to me every day, yet rarely, rarely occurs in any of my overs. Okay, that’s my whining for today, although it is certainly well-justified. Let’s move on to Tuesday, which is shaping up to be one of my lightest days of the entire season…

James Shields vs Tom Milone UNDER 7 - $24 for $20
This might be my only over/under of theday, which is rare when I only take one game. But this one does have some potential to it, as you have James Shields, who probably gets a momentum boost from remaining with his longtime employer, that being the Rays, set to go to work in a pitcher’s park like the Oakland Coliseum, against a guy who pitches better there than any other active pitcher, that being Tom Milone and his mythical-but-true 0.91 ERA, 0.80 WHIP, and .184 batting average against, not to mention a nifty 5-1 record in eight starts. I mean, that’s just absolutely fantastic, and considering Milone hasn’t given up more than one earned run in a start at home since late-May, it illustrates the potentially dominant extensives tretches he is capable of at home. I like that the line is 7, rather than the feared 6.5, giving us that bit of extra room for a 5-2 push. It’s a fine bet, and may be my only action tonight.

**May Add More Over/Under(s) Throughout Day Leading Up To Gametime**

**Remember that if you have a questionconcerning an over/under, I will gladly assist you with it if I see it beforethe game starts, even the ones I don’t bet on, as I have at least a small vibe on every single over/under from studying this stuff several hours every singleday and night**

lol .. deeply appreciate your hard work and effort in this o/u thread of yours... you have a passion for it, and i respect that... BUTTTTTT, cat, TRUST me ... the more you talk about bad beats, and how they 'always' happen to you, the MORE they will happen.. you must believe that.. give it a shot.. try eating a loss, without posting "as i was 100% right once again, but lost" ... can we try that? please, do not take this as a bash whatsoever, as i already stated i respect the work you do... just remember, the more you talk about it, the more its going to re-occur.. ignore those bad beats, and just swallow the losses

Lol no offense taken, I appreciate the tip. I've tried not letting them get to me but I'll keep trying not to acknowledge them but it's just so hard doing so because of my extreme, almost sort of creepy-ish obsession and passion for over/unders. I'm so emotionally invested into this to the point where I think of almost every little moment of every game I take. I'll try to minimize it.

By the way, I stand corrected on that Lee vs Strasburg under, glad I laid off. Also wanted to mention to everyone that if you're on the fence about taking my one and only over/under tonight, I forgot to mention Tampa Bay's struggles against left-handed pitching (Although I have discussed it before in a previous over/under)... they're third-worst in baseball versus southpaws. So, if you want to break this down in somewhat of an equation form:

Tom Milone's league-leading home ERA + Tampa Bay's notable struggles against lefties + Tampa Bay's current nine-games-out-of-ten stretch scoring three runs or less + An anticipated better-than-his-usual-2012 start from James Shields = Under 7

Of course it's never as simple as that but it's a solid bet with promise

Don't assume people in charge know what they are d

I agree, bad beats happen. I figure your a pretty smart guy, you should have figured out that bad beats happen, it's part of the game. I said it before and I'll say it again flat bet you'll be money ahead. Also, limit your number of plays per day. I think you are one of the best posters in the baseball forum and the fact that you answer questions tells me alot about what type of guy you are. I ask you to take a step back and look at you "approach". I mean this as a postive post, hope you take that way.

Haha I'm still tryin' man, I'm trying. If there's one thing I want everyone to take away from my writing, even through the whining, it's that I'm a very emotional guy who wears his heart all over his sleeve. If I wasn't so passionate about my beloved MLB Over/Unders, I wouldn't be complaining, but I'm just very Jose Valvderde-ish in that I can't contain my emotion on most days.

It's taken as a positive, I always appreciate your posts, nojuice. The only thing I contend with is when you say "bad beats happen, it's part of the game." Lol of course I know that. If someone doesn't know that and they attempt to bet baseball, they're in the wrong industry. The only point I try to illustrate with my constant whining almost every day is that it happens a lot more to me - a lot - than just about anyone else out there, hence why the most bizarrest and cruelest of close losses occur against me, with very few of those bizarre or cruelest of happenings occuring in my favor. That's the main point I try to make with my crying :)

And I greatly appreciate the feedback. I'm glad you sense that because if all of you met me, you'd know I'm also genuinely one of the nicer guys in real-life as well. I like conversing with everyone here, it's a terrific community and I'm glad I'm still here, and I will absolutely always help anyone out with any over/under questions they have on any given day.

Understood. I'll try harder in minimizing that as if I was Zach Britton trying to minimize first-inning damage haha
