The good fortune continued last week, and thank goodness there are only two games this week. Been super busy at work and now i am heading out of tow for four days so i am going to do both my write ups today.
I figured the Al's would be -1 favs on reputation alone & when the Montreal line first came out at -2 I was happy i watched dip and then climb back to -2 I am still really happy.
MONT are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 vs. East.
MONT are 5-16 ATS in their last 21 games overall.
The ungluing of the Montreal club has been a long time coming they beat up the east for a decade. The teams there in the last couple of years finally caught them and now they are beating them.
If you don't protect the QB and he is rushed in a timing passing offense you will lose,
If you don't run the ball effectively OTR you will lose
If your defense gives up almost 40 points a game on the road you will lose.
If all these situations happen tonight again to Montreal the Bombers will win.
Amazingly the bombers have not lost tough with the leaders in the East and if they win tonight going into their bye they would be super happy. I am sure they would like to be at or above .500 but given 0-4 OTR to 1 game out is amazing.
Alex Brink looked like he came alive last week in the second half, leading the bombers back from a 10 point deficit. look for him to build off that momentum tonight
