Getty Images What’s even more unshakable than a person’s religious beliefs? Their love of tasty chicken. At least that’s the case with Detroit Lions linebacker Justin Durant, who flung himself into the Chick-fil-A gay marriage controversy in a most amusing, or tasteless (choose one) way on Wednesday.
It all happened on Twitter, as most controversial quotes do. A follower asked Durant if he’d still patronize Chick-fil-A of the owner came out in support of slavery. Durant’s response: “Chicken too tasty.”
Apparently that caused a huge backlash — Durant claiming that he’s had to block several people.

Good thing he is not a white dude or he would already be out of the NFL.
