Dog Blew Out Her Knee .... Guess What It Cost Me?

Can you believe 5 fuckin grand???? Tore her ACL and dislocated her knee cap. Would you guys pay or shoot the dog? Keep in mind the dam thing cost me $1,700.00 I had insurence on my other bulldog but failed to get it for this one, fuuuuuuck

the dog becomes like a family member after a while. Yes, it is expensive as hell, but I would carry guilt for the rest of my life if I didn't give that animal a fighting chance.

Yea I was gonna try that with my other bulldog (I have 2) but she ended up with pyometra (infected uterus) so she had to have emergency surgery to get spaded suxed. So I got this one spaded already, but I like your thinking boat!

Only way I wouldn't do it was if I simply couldn't afford it or it was going to put my family in a bad financial situation. It would be hard to put down my dog though under any circumstances...

Yea Yea I agree just a tuff nut. I wish I could figure out how to post pics? I have a nice picture of the X-ray with the screws and plate. The scar also has a nice pic.

Yea I forgot to mention that my 16 year old daughter blew out her ankle 3 days before the dog and has 8 screws and a plate in it. Playing soccer for her high school team before you ask .... don't even get me started with that shit....

I have a French Bulldog, little shit is bat shit quick. Runs all over the dog park, now this gets me thinking. The way he runs, and is rough as hell, he is prime canidate for an injury

Get the ins big! She was running around the house. My first floor is kitchen dinning room living room and comp room all connected in a giant circle. Dog was doing sprint laps ..... BAM blows out the knee. Not much yelping but, put absolutely no pressure on it, held it off the ground, for about 5 hours. Thats when I brought her in .... Surgery that night.

currently have 3 Cats, One of them is my Favorite. Follows me around, sleeps between me and the mrs...

If I was standing there with him and the Wife, and a Guy asks ... I have to shot one, and it's my choice. Well.. it's kind of a tough call. But the Wife should start Running !
