any different betting strategies this football season?

I know the public kicked ass the first 5 weeks of the season last year. Some of the line's guys told me they never saw anything like it in 10+ years. Maybe it was the uncertainty of the lockout? The whole Tebow thing?

How did you guys do last football season? Pros or college .. what did you do better at?

Any new betting this season? More teasers? Less parlays? More 1H or 2H bets? Totals? Props?

I've been doing this for many years and I still lack discipline. I fall in love with too many games. Each year I say "I'm gonna do it differently and I never do. Although I didn't get killed last year a losing year still sucks. So, once again I am going to try and hopefully succeed at not playing too many games.

I suspect we are like a lot of bettors. Every year I say I am gonna bet less games but that usually lasts the first Sunday until the first bunch of games go to halftime. lol.
