Going back 36 years ago, Sold a Gold bracelet because i was short on paying a bookie $3200.

I was Young and Stupid back then.

Yep , back in the 80's. Jelewry , a car , took out loans , cancelled life insurance policies , prolly other stuff i dont remember.

Once even had to go work for the man , but that ended up a good thing. After 3 months of working my debt off , i stayed around 6 years on the payroll.

i have sold stuff cause i was genearlly broke (probably cause of gambling)....but i have never had to sell something to come up with the payment

that would be pretty degenerate of me

Never sold anything but was a regular at the Pawn Shop in the early 80's. Lose i week and put in pawn and win the next week and go get it out..lol I used to pawn all the dishes and cookware cus it would be a good 10 days before the ex-wife would notice it was gone..
