Radon test ?

Is this a reasonable request.....go away for two days ?

Doug, inspections are scheduled for Aug. 20th at 2:30. Also is there any 2 days you will be away so they can do a radon test? They need the property to be uninhabited while the test is done.

Not true.Air test or water test doesn't matter.We do tests every day and house does not have to be empty.I'm guessing this is for air test usually kit is set in basement for couple of days and taken to lab

Radon comes up from the ground, right ?

This is a second story unit with no basement, I didn't test it or any other 2nd floor unit I've owned in the past. Is this test pointless being a loft unit ?

I told the realtor to have the buyer put me up in a hotel for 2 days if they want this

Just depends how bad you want to sell the house. If they're willing to buy at a good number, I wouldn't risk turning them off by refusing this request. Surely you can find something to do one weekend.
