This is a real feel good story IMHO! Uganda is the first African team to make it to the Little League World Series. They have been trying to get there for the past couple of years but there were visa problems, etc.
These kids arrived at Williamsport having never seen a grass field. They play on dirt in Uganda and without shoes. They were given gloves and spikes when they arrived but found they were more comfortable playing without shoes.
Not sure how good they are and likely Panama will probably win, but what a story. After watching MLB since April, it is very refreshing to watch these youngsters from all over the world come together.
