Coming off (1-0)(+5.00) evening on Friday winning with my 5* selection on San Francisco/San Diego Over 6.5 (10-1). The game was Over in the top of the 3rd. Back today with another 5* play.
Ryan Vogelsong has been the model on consistency for the Giants all year long, going at least 6 innings in 17 of his starts up until his last outing. Until then, he led the NL with a 2.27 ERA and the Giants had won 14 of his starts. With the last outing only lasting 2 innings, he should be very fresh and strong today and be back in his usual form.
Futhermore, an update on the Giants. The day Melky Cabrera was suspended, the Giants only found out 2 hours before that game which they dropped 6-4. A day off followed and Bruce Bochy brought the entire team over to his home for a barbeque and to relax together before flying down to San Diego to start this weekend series. It appears to have done wonders and the Giants to a man have stated that they are moving on and have certainly shown that they are focused offensively the last two days. This may have been a blessing in disguise and caused each player to bear down. There is still a great deal of talent on this team and don't be surprised if they go on a winning streak.
Meanwhile, the Padres have lost 5 in a row and Richard has struggled against the Giants losing his last outing to them 7-1 giving up all 7 runs. He's lost all three of his outings versus the Giants this year while posting a 7.64 ERA and .360 opponent batting average.
Year To Date Record: (9-11)(-3.66)
5* (2-2)(0.00)
1* (7-9)(-3.66)
5* San Francisco -124
Good luck everyone!
