Winning the NFL HILTON or winning a gold bracelet in an event that is not the WSOP main event or the HORSE event.

from a purely financial standpoint the Main Event provides the most financial opportunities without question...
But to answer your question about which one I would rather win if they paid the same I think I would say the Hilton. I played the Main Event in 2009 and let me tell you that skill has VERY little to do with surviving the first 2 days of play. I dont care what anyone says. The luck factor early on is just outrageous.
In the Hilton you really have to be skillfull at all times and are not going to be bailed out by luck. And with the Hilton you are competing against much stronger competition then the Main Event. The Main Event field is mostly a joke. Out of 6k players you definitely dont have the best 6k in the world.
The Hilton draws the absolute best of the best.
This will be my first year in the Hilton and I can say I am a lot more psyched for this than I was for the Main Event. That was just something to do for the experience.

Apples to oranges here. I would argue the top 1-5% of poker players vs. the same percentage of handicappers, the poker players are far more skilled at their trade than cappers. They would crush their Avarage joe competition at a far higher clip than the top cappers would. In capping the final result is a win/loss/push... Not so in poker.
