Ok, I have something I want to get off my chest.
Looks like no more of the "FREE CONTEST", I have been doing with one vice.
Some back ground.
Couple of mths ago, I got on a GREAT roll betting. So figured have some fun and give away a few bucks. First time I did it was via Justbet, and BAS created the thread. "Anonyous poster gives away 300". The thread was were 3 posters were picked at random, and each won a prize at Justbet. Of the 300, $200 was mine, and the other $100 was from Justbet. I had approached them to see if they would sweeten the pot and kick in some $, and they did. But to kick in the extra 100, they said the prizes had to be Bonus Plays. looking back, that was a screw job. I put in 200, and they put in 100, and make my 200 CASH into Bonus Plays? Oh well, live and learn.
Anyhow, about this same time JAG came on the scene and told a poster if a bet hit he would give him $6,000. The bet hit, and Jag spazzed out and is still MIA. Now, about that time I started playing at 1Vice again. I had played there before, and loved it, but Griff and I had a dust up, none gambling related, and we went our seperate ways. That's why I made the HOT HEADED BOOK MAKER VID. So when I started playing at 1Vice after Griff and I kissed and made up, I started doing pretty well there to. Figured let's give some of this away. I approached Griff, and asked if he would sweeten the pot, we went back and forth. He asked me one day, why are you doing this, I said it was fun, and folks like to win, it makes me feel good, and it promotes the RX. I like when the site is jumping.
During our conversations, Griff brought up the whole Jag stiff job for 6k. We talked, and Griff asked what I thought about giving away 6k at the RX alittle at a time.
I explained I enjoyed giving away some $, but I was far from in postion to give away that kinda $. Next day Griff calls me and says, HE will give away that kinda $, but will do it thru me, since he isn't allowed to post at the RX after the synbet 25k bailout boon dogle. I told him I couldnt have 1Vice contest and he said, that they would be boatboatboat contest, he would simply supply the $. CASH, NO ROLL OVER, ability to withdraw the prize money FEE FREE, without having ever wagered, if that is what they choose.
Well I did a couple of these and it was pushing some buttons of RX higher ups, and sponsers. So to keep peace in the family, I started doing the Justbet give aways again. This time JustBet via Scott Carter matched me dollar for dollar, once again 100% cash, no rollover. I INSISTED it be this way. I had Justbet transfer 200 out of my account, and they put in 200 matching, and that was the prize fund we had. Plan was fifty a week ,for 8 weeks, see how it goes, and maybe continue after that.
NOW.................LET's GET ONE THING STRAIGHT HERE FOLKS, I HAVE NOT EVER GOT A FREAKING DIME, FROM JUST BET, 1VICE or any book for "touting them" or any other reason. PERIOD.
So why did I do this? Fuck, I don't know. Fun? attention, help the RX............does it matter at the end of the day? I was doing it, folks were winning, getting some cash and having fun. Isn't that what this place should be about?
So here is where we now are. I won't be able to do anymore FREE CONTEST for anyone who is not a sponser here at the RX. It simply torks to many folks off.
It pisses me off it has to be that way, but that's the way she goes. (ray on trailer park boys says that)
I DO UNDERSTAND why it would upset a sponser here to get back doored and see contest like I have been doing. But than again, why don't they step up and do some stuff like I have been doing? Also, if in some small way what I was doing would build RX trafic, wouldnt that actualy help a sponser here, by getting their name out and in front of people more often?
But I do understand, I enjoy this place, and don't want to be shown the door. So I will stop with the 1Vice contest. Damn shame, they were willing to allow me to give RX posters a BUNCH of money the next 15 weeks or so.
What do I want to happen now? Well besides this thread being left up, I want to be able to continue to post here. BUT MY BIGGEST HOPE, is that some RX sponser contacts me, and gives me a budget to work with to have boatboatboat mini contest. IMO, a mini contest can do a book more good, them some season long $3000 first place blah blah blah pick every week, DRAWN OUT contest. Quick hitters folks, contest that take one sec to enter, and are over in a day. Wam Bam thank ya Mam. That's how you get NEW PLAYERS at your book. Hell it must work, or the current paid sponsers here, wouldnt have cared if I was doing it with 1Vice. Right?
So, SPONSERS, if you think it works, let me do it for you? I am good at it, I enjoy it, RX posters enjoy it. Let's roll.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhh, in my pissed off ness, which i no longer am, (as much) I wrote some exit songs, and put them to music. I will post all three. Give me your thoughts?
P.S. I am no longer AS pissed, just disappointed. The Mods have given me a LOOOOOOONG leash, and I am thankful, they simply must reel me in at this time.
