my bad, not weak guns. restrictive gun laws. chicago is one of the most anti gun cities in the nation. the gangs can get the guns easily compared to regular citizens.

what do you think they should do? Is there anything? Or is it just too late and the government has just given up on certain parts of the city? Hard to believe this goes on in the US. Afghanistan yes but not Chicago.

Why do I get such a strong impression you live your whole life on what your read in the papers and have very little experience yourself on most everything you speak of in here? My mother was in her 80's before she passed years ago and lived her life the same way, rest her soul. Whatever she saw on the news or read in the papers, she pretty much believed was a true fact. Because she really didn't know any better. You fit the same MO.

But you are entertaining at times.

They are just undermanned and out numbered....period....

gangs are NOTHING new in CHGO...

don't see things changing real soon...

more community involvement and accountability from the citizens. at the same time thats not easy when you could get a bullet in your head for giving names.

i dont know if anything can be done. there has always been gang violence in these major areas. all the way from capone to ms13 now.
