You know me, skyla, and you know I never, never do ML or RL bets. However, this one is just wayyyy too good to pass up. I'm undefeated on Corey Kluber overs and it's rare that I think this about a pitcher, since I always look for the good, even if it's hard to spot, in a starting pitcher, but this is all I will say about the Indians' right-hander: He sucks and has very little hope of carving out any sort of career in a Major League rotation. No question. THUS, there is simply no way the Yankees are not going to hit Kluber. Just no way. Yes, there have been some very odd occurrences over the years where the storied Yankees line-up went silent against other scrub pitchers (Sean O'Sullivan, Carlos Carassco, Dylan Axelrod, to name a few off the top of my head), but Corey Kluber is below even those bottom-feeders.
At the end of the day, it boils down to this: Corey Kluber will not be able to tell his grandkids one day that he beat the mighty New York Yankees and CC Sabathia. And from CC's perspective, while he's coming back from injury, he's set to square off in the stadium that he called home for many years, against a team that has just been on an absolute tailspin over the past several weeks. This one just seems wayyy too easy, and I never say that about a game. But it's not even close with Corey Kluber involved.
