Well, they are the best team in Texas, it's not Dallas. Jerry Jones is ruining that team. Texans are damn good and flirted for a playoff spot last year but this year looks to be adding on to that young experience of beating up on teams and making even fewer mistakes as last year. I don't know, I guess I see things through the prism alot different from the rest of you experts. Wouldn't be a bad bet to place a high wager bet on the Texans to win it all with the option to hedge it when they make the playoffs. Last I saw the Texans were at 14 - 1.
Seattle, Atlanta, Houston, Baltimore and Denver.... YES Denver, last year made it to the 2nd round with Tebow. Now Tebow is replaced with Peyt, if Peyt is even close to his old self Denver could make a run, especially in their division
Thats what makes the NFL great.
You have teams being predicted Super Bowl contenders in this thread that was heavily picked in my predict the teams to miss the playoffs thread.
You could never start a thread like this in the NBA because there is no such thing as a dark horse contender to win an NBA title.
Every year you have 3 or 4 teams in the NBA that can win a title and the rest have zero shot.
Miami, Chicago, LA, and OKC.
We all know that its 99% that one of the above teams is going to win the NBA title next season.
But in the NFL you can make a case for 15 different teams winning it all.
At 14-1 odds I would. Depending on your perspective maybe you think it's a longshot. A longshot to me would be like the St. Louis Cardinals last year in baseball.
