We just purchased a used pop up camper. Its 10ft with pullout on each side. This will make camping so much better and it will make us do it even more.

Michigan has tons of State and County parks that have campsites. We didn't want anything to big. 10ft should be perfect. It has a awning with an outdoor room to put on that.

Cost 4K think we got a decent deal.

I go with the family and hate every fukkin minute of it. No phone signal, trailers with a million stains from the million that have been there before, bugs, shit food, and on top of that I have to make out it's fun, even though it's cost me five moneyline bets to entertain the family for the weekend.

hahahahha well I did have a real bad 2 week stretch in July. Did a few big jobs and that seems to right the ship. Maybe it was just a reminder that its not easy to play poker for hrs every week.

I enjoy the hell out of it. The Wife and I have a great time and hell making the food is some of the best parts. I made pizza over the campfire it was awesome.

With the camper it will be so much easier to go. These pop ups nowadats are great. We will never go to a place that doesn't have power or showers so we don't need plumbing in the trailer.

Go kayaking and fishing and swimming it was great fun. Hell some of these parks have cable and wifi lol

nothing better than a drunken night of setting up tents and cooking out with friends...the ride home on the other hand...

Yes just 2 of us. We don't want a bigger one. We don't want other people to be in the trailer with us. There is enough room to take the kids camping. This one will sit in my backyard when not in use. I don't have to pay for storage. This will also be able to be towed with a small SUV or even our VW Jetta.

It has a 2 burner stovetop that can be inside or outside. Has a heater and even has heated mattress.

We love it. We have a RV and use it often. I admit it gets used a lot less during football season unless we are at a game. I usually have Enterprise bring me a car wherever we stop. It is a great way to travel!

If you can pull it with your car or SUV its no big deal. With an RV obviously I cannot and I find pulling a car in tow to be difficult. Enterprise brings us our rental and the price is competitive. We have covered most of the US over the past 8 years. I hope you get to enjoy your camper like we have enjoyed our RV!

Why buy a camper when there's thousands of abandoned houses within driving distance?

In many of those hoods you can even tap into cable TV if you bring along some coax cable and a generator for juice

CFB........ yes we sure will. The lady gave us all kinds of free camping deals to go with the camper. I am in Michigan and we have plenty of lakes with the parks on the lake.

BARMAn..... I already go to the empty houses around here. I don't need to go to them on my vacation. I do have a sweet generator though.

If you can, expand beyond your home state, we have seen so much of the US and yet we feel we have barely scratched the surface. We really enjoyed Traverse City last year.

Camping is rich white people pretending they are homeless. I dont get it, give me a couch, a remote control and a case of beer in the fridge. As compared to sleeping on the ground underneath plastic, listening to AM radio, and putting hand in ice cold water to get beer.
