BOJANGLES for me....

Just cashed in my free "homestyle chicken fingers" coupon today. Never had the fingers before. Decent. They are their answer to those people that don't like their "spicy" chicken....

However it was their honey mustard sauce that amazed me. It's sooooo different. I only used a dab each bite and loved it....

Anyways, for their regular fried chicken... It varies too much for me. I LOVE THE CAJUN SEASONING... When I am in NC, I love it. We actually buy a ton of it for tailgating when were in charlotte instead of trasporting grill...

We have one here too, but it's not near as "spicy" as NC.. and its rather inconsistent in that area...

However, their breakfast. Bacon Egg and Cheese Biscuit. Fresh eevery single time.. melts in your mouth.. maybe my favorite thing all time at any fast food restaurant. very buttery.

Not much fried chicken in my parts anymore besides KFC. But in its time my rating was like this.

1. Pioneer
2. Popeyes
3. Churches

Louisiana Fried Chicken used to be good until the Koreans got a hold of them and made hybrids out of them combining Fried Chicken and Chinese Food and Fish Fry all in the same batch of grease.

the skin on KFC original style chicken is something I like a few times a year. I can't eat more than 4 pieces without landing on the can though. I wouldn't mind trying some of those other places mentioned in the thread. Not familiar with them though. I am also a white guy that can't dance

the poboy at popeyes is rock solid but the chicken by itself isnt up my alley personally.

KFC sucks...

I don't eat it very often as it's awful for you but the new chicken dippers at Popeyes are really good

Had Popeyes first time ever, and IMO doesn't even come close to bojangles...

What the hell man??? You live in Southern California. Get your ass to Roscoe's!

No fast-food chain can compete with any Soul Food restaurant. Not even close. Not to mention the waffles. For me it's Lo-Lo's Chicken and Waffles.
