who has the best pizza in vegas?

i remember when i lived in las vegas in the 80;s there was nobody who knew how to make good pizza out there so im just wondering has anyone mastered the skill of making pizza in the desert yet

Metro Pizza inside Ellis Island casino is pretty damn good.

Plus they seem to win a lot of best pizza in Vegas awards around town.


Then again...ANY food made at Ellis Island is dynamite.


The ribs are my favorite, but the steak special is legendary. And I have not tried it yet, but they have a new popular Sandwich shop in there now. Along with a new poker room.

California Pizza Kitchen I believe it's called. It's in The Mirage. Excellent!

CPK is alright but no chain restaurants should be mentioned for best pizza - mom and pops only.

I like that spot in New York, New York. I think it is called "NYP" in the food court near Gallagher's Steakhouse. I usually drop in there and get a couple of slices and a Stella and sit down and check out all of the trim.

I thought I was the only one who knew about the food gems in Ellis Island...the Steak and Eggs over ther is best in town...and late night pizza cant be beat...

Have you tried the chicken and Ribs in the BBQ?

I've only tried the steak special in the main restruant [prolly 10 times] but wife and friends claim everything is terrific. And so cheap. The shrimp are colossal.

Went once late [bbq] before close. they only serve till 10 I believe. It was so good I went back for lunch the next day when they opened. LOL.

If they had a better sports book and a hotel with beds I'd stay there every trip. The hotel next door looks too rundown for me. As well as safe.

Cant believe everyone doesnt know about this place
The steak special isnt even on the menu. Have to ask for it. But its the best seller in the entire restruant.

Nope...Ellis island has been widely touted on all of the vegas forums for years as the place for cheap good eats.
