STL. ML. One unit. If you look back a little further than the last 1-2 days, STL was really slugging, and the Nats were in the worst slump in a while. Many Nats are in a 1-2 week slump. On Wed. they got to Miami rookie Turner, but had struggled with all kinds of pitchers prior to that. Edwin Jackson has had a good season, but not a great last 2 months. Has given up 32 runs in his last 58 innings, close to a 5.00 ERA. Garcia has pitched well in two games off the DL, and lefties have given the Nats some trouble. Garcia is stingy on both long balls and walks.The Nats have a very poor BB:K ratio vs. lefties this year. STL is hungry, Nats maybe too comfortable.

Milwaukee. -1. Marcum is a Cub killer(Cubs are 13-81 lifetime vs. Marcum) and the Brewers are finally proving they can win at home. In fact, even the Brewers BP is showing some quality lately. The Cubs really have an eye on next year, and consistently struggle at the plate. Raley is more an athlete than a pitcher. Nice easy motion, but no real out pitch. High numbers in HRs and walks- a deadly combination in Wrigley vs. a HR hitting team.

I take back my comment about the improved Brewers BP. Should have had the First 5 IPs play instead.

LAD. RL. one unit. Kennedy is fotunate he hasn't given up more runs with the amount of HRs he's given up. Gonzalez gives the Dodgers another good lefty bat, with Ethier, and should help vs. RHP. Arizona's recent home stand was one of their worst in a long while, on the road they usually are worse. The Dodgers finally broke through in last game in Colorado. They are streaky, so let's hope this continue in LA. Kershaw on the mound, toughest pitcher D-Backs have seen in a while.

LAD -1/2 (-130) First 5 IPs. A decent line for this play. One unit.

You have got to be kidding me. The MIL loss was my fault...I take 100% responsibility. I never mark a win until it is over and I marked MIL a winner at 9-3 in the 6th.
