I'm new to this. Here is the proposed trade:

Tom Brady for Jimmy Graham and Ray Rice

This seems one-sided but I'm leaning towards not voting against it. I don't have a lot of experience, what do you all think?

Tom Brady is worth one of those players, not both.

Looks to me that someone just wants Tom Brady bad and willing to give up more than he should.
I don't think anything fishy is going on, we've yet to play week 1 yet...

that is a one sided trade, but the season hasn't even started yet

is it collusion? does this give one team an unfair advantage?

maybe the guy trading for Brady thinks he's going to have a sensational year or maybe he thinks he's selling Graham high

it does seem whacked out, doesn't mean somebody is cheating (are they friends?)

I'm not involved with the trade just deciding if it is so one sided that I should oppose it.

Also, I have Chris Johnson, Darren McFadden and Ryan Mathews. What do you think their value is in order? I might consider moving one of them.

I think many leagues would void that trade. I'm not big on voiding them, but it does look like a collusion-type trade on the surface. A stud RB or TE are much harder to get then a stud QB.

Mathews has no value until he gets healthy. I would sell high on McFadden. Guy is always hurt.

There are lots of factors that we don't know. What is the scoring system? Do QB's get 6 points per TD or less? Is it PPR, because both Graham and Rice's value go up in that format. Etc, Etc.

I would rank them McFadden, Johnson, Mathews (seems to always get hurt). I think McFadden will be the #1 scoring RB in most formats this year, barring an injury (which seems to happen to him a lot too)

Listing the scoring system that your league uses along with both teams full roster would give us a better overall view of what these guys might be thinking.

If I had a say I'd void that.

That is basically a 1st rounder and 2nd rounder for another 1st rounder BEFORE the season starts.

I love Tom Brady but you gotta void that gimme a break....If that gets passed before the season starts thats a joke league

in just about every draft..rice went before brady..with no injuries..who would trade a #2 and a #12,13 overall for a # 6? makes no sense at all regardless of how good of a year you think bday is going to have...unless qbs get 10 pts per td pass....void it..

This is the answer.

Just because one player's decision is poor enough to make that trade because he wants a particular player so badly doesn't necessarily mean it should be voided.

It is too one sided. I would allow Ray Rice for Tom Brady straight up. In some leagues all 3 players have been drafted in the first round. If the guy trading for Brady is just a homer and wants him at all costs just so he can enjoy his fantasy season tell him to go back and try to balance out that trade and then you will allow it.
