What is the real purpose? I always thought collusion was the reason to void but I'm in a league where unfair trades are also voided. I once got some guy I don't know to give me something awesome for me and everyone voided it. Along with collusion they don't want one team to have a big advantage. If later in year and trade makes both teams better they will void if 1st place gets better.

I think its dumb to have veto. I think it should only be removed if its collusion. People usually are just jealous they didnt make the offer first

Ehh, depends on the deal...

I mean one thing you see a ton is the idiot in 11th place that has the RB everyone needs just deals it for 50 cents on the dollar because hes out of it, what does he care? Sick of people bothering him.

I actually don't mind leagues that just ban trades altogether. Unless you do FF with all reasonably smart people you just see some terrible panic trades at times.

And people think real GMs are bad!

The best way to run a league is to have a commishmer that isn't in it. It takes all the self-interest out of the equation.

lol and the incentive for that person is what?

Although you might be onto something, charge a fee 3% of prize pool to commish the league.

I'm not talking guys at the end dumping.....i'm just talking bad managers making bad deals.....is a bad deal with no collusion veto worthy? Lets say the top team in the league just needs a QB and deals a few bench players for an elite QB (to someone that got raped on injuries)....makes them both better but the top team turns into the green bay packers....do you veto?

Good point FW

FWIW, I want to let it be known throughout the forums I will be willing to commish all leagues for a small 5% fee. I will hold the money and review all activities to ensure fairness and timely payments.

The league should run itself. 90% of the bitching involves commish moves or collusion.

No. Every team should have the right to make dumbass moves. You can put safeguards in like I trade you Brady, you cannot trade him back to me later. You can limit trades between teams to 2-3/year to avoid a minor league system.

what about a good trade by other members that make one team worse than you better than you?

do you veto that trade? it truly is in the best interest for your team

That's why the other teams should never vote. Self-interests get in the way. Personally I hate trading with the guy who constantly low-balls on trades for 5 years, now you want me to ok his trade to my competitor? See how you need an outsider?

The lesson as always.......Try not to do FF with idiots because as much as it seems like its easy $ it will become very frustrating.
