I was offered mojo and Trent Richardson for ray rice...what to do?! Both mojo and t rich are risks.

My team currently:

Rivers
Rice
Turner
Fitz
Colston
Torrey Smith
Witten
Gostkowski

Bench includes:

Kevin Smith
Gerhart
Blackmon
Jeffrey
Luck
Etc etc

I might be able to swing a deal for a good third wide out with Turner and Smith

Thoughts?

Simple rule - you want the best player in a trade.

My answer is no way.

You want possible WW WR's - look for Davone Bess, Danny Amadola. WR's are a dime a dozen and there are few workhorse RBs.

Richardson will be a stud, but who is mojo?

mjd, mojo, whatever you want to call him. will he return to form? will richardson's knee hold up? richardson should get a ton of carries this year...but they will be playing from behind an awful lot.

if i take the trade i'll already have another in place for another top receiver, otherwise i won't do it to begin with. there are a few teams in my league that are desperate for rb and deep at wr. a few i'm targeting is welker, white, jennings or cruz. that would leave me with mjd and either turner/richardson as rb2 with fitz, colston and one of those receivers i trade for. is the potential reward for mjd worth the risk?

the deal would also include torrey smith...i don't like parting with him because of his big play potential, but i would have the top receiving core in the league.

i'm trying to figure this out..someone throw some input in rather than the no ways lol. i would get mjd and richardson for rice. so rice finishes top 3 obviously...mojo finishes top 5 or 6? not a huge fall off, but then i get a veteran #1 receiver on a high powered offense in return. the 3rd party is willing to take richardson and blackmon for jennings. essentially, i'd be trading rice for mjd and jennings...not a bad deal, right?

my lineup would be:

rivers
mjd
turner
fitz
jennings
colston
witten

what am i missing here :/

I would probably say no but I dont think its an obvious no. I honestly think Torrey Smith will be a very good #3 and very well could be a WR #2 and rice is obviously a top 3 RB. Plus dont count out Blackmon from having a nice season. My projections have jennings only scoring 29 more points then smith this season. But my projections have Rice scoring 60 more points then MJD.

I offered Michael Turner and Jonathan Stewart for Doug Martin in our RX league. Thought the guy was pretty thin at RB and I had a lot of people I could plug in.

DO NOT TRADE TORREY SMITH! The guy could easily be a top 5 WR. Too much risk trading Ray Rice for an injured Trent Richardson and holdout MJD. You drafted RRice because you thought he was going to have a big year, ride that train to a Championship.
