Was told for the last 6 months everything would pick up for football season.
Well here we are its football season.

Yes another no traffic thread.
I know everyone hates them but this is a big issue.

BAS leaves for a few days and the place dies.

IMO fantasy football is replacing betting games for people under 35. I could be wrong about this on a large scale but just from what I've seen.

I don't have too many friends who bet sports really (I mean they maybe have 1 out and bet here and there) but everyone I know who follows the NFL has atleast 1 fantasy team.

It's slow but I wouldn't put everything just on the offshore forum...Like defying said, a lot of newer people might not even know what the offshore forum is about.

Im talking about the offshore Defying.
I dont visit the football forum.
Never have, never will.
Even though the football forum is not dead, its still not what it use to be from what little I have observed.

The baseball forum is about 90% down from its heyday.

So I am assuming you know more about the site traffic than someone that deals with signs ups?

I mostly hang out in the offshore, but 99% of the people here dont. Maybe we could brand the Offshore differently. But, the forum is not dead. Sunday, well have what 150+ new threads alone in the NFL Forym. Right Now we averaging 20-30 sign ups a day.

This is getting exhausting.

I love the RX, get mad as F sometimes, but always return. I will never leave unless I am banned, but be honest here folks.

A popular thread here (in the off shore) gets in a day 200 views and maybe 30 replies.

There are places where I have posted Music Vids, that got 400 views and 100 responses in 3 hours, and no one at the board even knew who the F I was, nor did they care.

Once again, I think those of us here, LOVE the RX, we dont want to leave the RX, we just wish that there was more ACTIVE posters.

Defy when you say "deals" with sign ups, what does one do to "deal with" sign ups? What is the process?

Does a Mod PM the person, welcome them and show them a link to the off shore and INVITE them to post there?

"Dear boatboatboat, thank you for signing up at the RX. I have enclosed a link to the off shore section of our fourm. In this section our regulars just stop in and chit chat, we would LOVE to have you join our group. Here at the RX people cap and comment games in the various sports fourms, and use the off shore section as an area to hand out and enjoy talking with other players. We look forward to talking with you"

Than assign a Mod to that poster, so that when ever that person post for the first 2 mths or so, they get a response of some type (for sure) make them feel welcome, and part of the "family".

This ain't rocket surgery.
