I would rather have a hat with a beer sign on it, and eat as much cheese as possible.

I could give you some advice but you are going to have to tell me if you are pulling for the Saints or the Packers first to determine if my advice will be good or bad.

I am neutral I guess you could say. Will probably root for GB since it's a home game for them. I like to experience cool sports venues and this was on the list.

Are you doing the tours and everything on Saturday?

1) Appleton is like 40 minutes away, fyi
2) get there early Sunday - i'd say 10ish, then you have plenty of time to walk around the stadium and hit some different bars, etc.. to do some quality drinking before the game.

i will be at the game as well

not sure if i have other suggestions of cool stuff to do - i will try and think.

I imagine you'll have a good time. If you get a chance to post some thoughts after you return, I'd like to read them.

Folsom Field in Colorado is worth adding to your list, by the way. It's the prettiest stadium setting I've ever gotten to see. Boulder is also a really beautiful place all around.

USC, born and raised in the greater fox valley area. UW grad, Packer season ticket holder and now Vegas resident for 15 years.

Most on here are correct. Just drink alot and you will fit in nicely. Good people up der hey.

First, while in Appleton, you should walk the 2 blocks toward the Lawrence U campus and have a couple of cocktails at Cleo's Brown Beam Bar. Gotta go with the hard stuff to truly appreciate the overpour. Lot's of fun bars on College Avenue.

Pretty sure that there are no stadium tours on game day, so make sure you check Packers.com for exact details. Plenty of parking around the stadium in peoples yards. You will see them everywhere. The furthest walk is about 20 minutes. Give yourself some time from Appleton to GB as the 41 is slow rolling on game days.

If you're not going to tailgate, the 2 bars you want to check out are either the Stadium View (east side) or Krolls (west side). Good beer deals, good food, good times.

We usually set up shop off of Cormier and Oneida for pre drink drinking and then head to Kroll's about an hour prior to kickoff.

Should be a great time!! Enjoy
