Watching NFL games outside of the U.S. on an ipad2

Want to purchase a package to watch the games on my IPad. Both NFL Game Pass and DirecTV Sunday Ticket offer this for $199.99.

Which one is better for those who have tried them on your IPad while out of the U.S.? Thanks for any help.

I know last year when I was working in the Dominican Republic, there was a package through Sky. Judging by your location your in CR, I believe they have it there. As far as I am aware you can get streaming from Sky to your iPad using Sky. If not, or if it is different out there, then I would have to imagine the Game Pass is a much better deal especially with the multi game feature they have.

Must have misunderstood the DirecTV ad. Looks like Sunday Ticket requires one to have an account with them in the U.S. in order to purchase the Sunday Ticket package to use on mobile devices.

Meanwhile Game Pass is only good outside the U.S. so no decision to make.

He is not in Costa Rica....all I can tell you is that it is a local call for me....

Odds thanks for your response. I went with Game Pass, but not on the iPad. For those of us living outside of the U.S. but who registered their iPad in the U.S. store to buy apps, you cannot buy Game Pass! You need to change to an international store and lose availability to the U.S. apps or create a second ID which Apple does not suggest.

Really messed up situation since Game Pass is ONLY available outside the U.S. but only iPad s registered outside the U.S. can use them. Us expats who are registered in the U.S can't. Thai people or from wherever who bought and registered their iPad in their country CAN buy game pass but wouldn't want to!

Bottom line was to borrow a laptop with Windows from a friend for the remaining 3 weeks I have here in Thailand. Once back in Costa Rica my desktop is fine or local sports bars. Not an option here with games stating at midnight and 3:30 am.!
