It always amazes me how companies really fail to deliver in the Customer Service department.

What companies come to mind when you think of Great Customer Service and Terrible Customer Service?

Weird thread, haha... High-end items usually have strong CS - given my background, cookware companies come to mind, both All-Clad and Le Creuset have true lifetime warranties, and they essentially replace pieces no question asked.

Apple to some extent, if you live near one of their retail locations. It´s not inexpensive, but it is light years ahead for a computer/electronics company.

Funny you bring up cookware as that is the business I am in and I am glad you have had good experience with all-clad and le crueset, I can tell you however I have run into many people that have not found the same experience in regards to warranty. The have many exclusions and the main one that I have heard them use is that anytime you put one in a dishwasher, the warranty is voided. So make sure if you ever do need anything and they ask about dishwashers, just tell them you do not even own one.

My feeling is that customer service overall has gone down in the past few years. Corporate America at its finest.
