How do offshore know when to take a game off the board, particularly 2nd half line.

It is software that counts down the time? Or is it done manually?

What would be a reason a book says the game has started, when SportsOptions still had 4mins on countdown. Its also a TV game, and still isn't back on.

Irritated. Was going to make a 2 large 2nd half bets and couldn't get either in.

Just curious why a book would be so far off, when me, just a regular guy can tell that there is plenty of time left.

Screens like Sportsoptions & DB is an estimate time, like we all know that there's a break at Half time, but a game can start up Early, on time ( rare ) or late.

They are watching the games and Know when the True start is.

when it comes to Full games, it's in the software. and it can be set as a Soft or Hard count.

The book was about 7 mins off on this one..

taking Virginia -7 and of course they took the opening kickoff into the endzone.

Over 21.5 in NCSt UCONN and they already have 7 in 2nd half.

Just fustarting. I was watching SO countdown (and the halftime show) and finally pulled the trigger and said game already started on NC State. by the time I went back and tried to put in Virginia, that game already started..... 7 mins later it actually started.

thanks for the informaton though

Defying you have to remember the games on tv are all on delay. A 7 minute delay seems excessive but could be the case.

The books are going on the time the game actually starts and not when tv starts airing the game.

AFAIK, 2nd halfs are done manually and a timer is set. If you bet after that time it is shut out. End of story. Bet earlier next time.

Instead of bitching and complaining you need to be cracking open a bottle of champagne in celebration cuz your ass would have lost both those plays brother! Good luck on the plays that you DID get in today! :dancefool
