It's a painful bad break no matter how you look at it, but just think of it from this perspective: If there's one ballpark more than anywhere else where a very bizarre and fluke break like that is going to happen, it would be Coors Field. I mean, shit like that shouldn't be happening AT ALL, unfortunately but the fact that it was Coors makes seemingly anything possible
A similar occurence happened to me on Saturday in an over/under... I had under 8.5 with the White Sox up 5-2 against the Royals, top of the ninth, no one on, and two outs... Addison Reed, who's been excellent all year, then proceeds to give up three straight hits (With a couple of "defensive indifferences" mixed inbetween), and this came against the bottom of the Royals' order, with .200-hitting Johnny Giovotella (Who was very good last year, but has been garbage in 2012) getting the final hit to beat my under despite being 100-percent right with the starting pitching matchup (Chen vs Sale).
Sucks when it happens but you just have to try and brush it off.
