hopefully the league just doesnt come back.

nobody has said a word about it and nobody knows its going to happen.

remember the nba lockout? constant news on sports networks.

this proves my continual point that the nhl is irrelevant and will always be irrelevant.

Since you brought it up, who is right in this battle between the owners and players? Do you even know what the issues are?

Tons of working class people get hurt by sports lockouts. You would have to be an idiot to think this is a good thing...

ESPN doesn't place a priority on sports they don't cover. They also don't like to cover things that will hurt them, like the Duke player with $97,000 worth of jewelry. Can't have an investigation of the great Coach K, who would they interview?

Problem in part is having an American commish, who came from the NBA. He knows as much about hockey as I know about soccer. BTW, is Bettman getting Parkinson's? He looks like a friggin bobblehead doll every time I see him talk.

On the news everywhere and yes people know it.
Depends where you live.

I don't think anyone would care if mlb went on strike and never came back either.

Or the NBA. I don't know anyone personally who gave a crap they were on strike.

It's funny that ESPN puts more coverage into a potential NHL lockout than an NHL season.

Not really sure what the owners are thinking in this. The sport is finally coming back and now they are going to lock players out again? The players took a huge hit last go round, now the owners want to players to take a cut again even though everyone is making money. Doesnt make alot of sense.

coming back? the nba finals pregame show comfortably beat the stanley cup finals.

the pregame show, not the actual game.

dont know, dont care.

just hope that this is the lock out that does it.
Obviously you do care or you wouldn't post about it. And if you think a lockout will be the end of the NHL you're as stupid as you sound. I hope you haven't had children, we don't need you passing on the stupid gene.

unfortunately, the people who blindly love the joke that espn has become influence ratings and coverage. I for one don't know ANYONE over 30 (non gamblers) who likes the nba. While many are indifferent to hockey, lots do not like the nba. But espn covers it to death.
