Great sign, kid. And congratulations on beating that awful illness. It requires more bravery, strength, heart and desire to beat cancer than most of us can possibly dream to summon. Hopefully, this youngster will see many, many more Philadelphia Phillies games in the future.
Hopefully, those games down the road will turn out much better than this one. Because despite this kid’s best efforts to motivate the squad, the Phillies blew a 4-3 lead in the 8th inning, ultimately losing to the dreadful Houston Astros by a score of 6-4. Ouch.
