2012 MLB O/U Record: 327-304-29, -$1,697 (Was making much bigger bets earlier in the year, with countless fluke bad breaks, obviously. I also undoubtedly lead the country in half-run/one-run losses)
2011 MLB O/U Record: 366-270-42, +$1,104

Disappointing 2-3 day yesterday. That’s all there is to say, and it’s unfortunate that my reasoning in going after the Verlander vs Kluber over 7.5 was right (Citing Detroit would jump all over Corey Kluber early, which they did for four runs before the second inning even came to an end. Too bad Cleveland squandered their very easy opportunities, mostly thanks to fluke amazing defense by Prince and Cabrera), but it didn’t get me the win. Just have to get down to business to put an end to this little mini-slump I’ve experienced this week, so let’s see what Saturday has…

Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim @ Kansas City Royals (Best Bet) - $57 for $50
Zack Greinke vs Jeremy Guthrie
UNDER 8/8.5 ($11 for $10 on U8, $46 for $40 on U8.5)

Interesting scenario we have tonight as it’ll be the sometimes-mercurial Zack Greinke heading back to his old stomping grounds to take on the Royals. Luckily, this isn’t the first time Greinke (Who has experienced well-documented social disorders from potential pressure situations like this) is re-visiting Kansas City, as he pitched at “The K” earlier this year when he was still a Brewer, and shut them down over seven brilliant innings of one-run ball, striking out eight and walking none in the process. Considering the fact that he’s been much better later in an Angels uniform (Two runs or less allowed in four straight starts) and you have to believe that he’s in a very good place mentally right now, which is especially significant for such a mentally-oriented pitcher like Zack Greinke. As long as he’s comfortable, then that’s when he’s at his best in showcasing his dominant stuff. Then there’s Jeremy Guthrie, who is seemingly very comfortable as well, having brought his ERA down to 5.01 after it was closer to 7 heading into the all-star break. He’s been so good, actually, that he hasn’t lost Since Aug. 3, winning four straight decisions over that stretch, and in six of his past seven starts, he’s allowed two runs or less. Overall, Guthrie has looked simply much, much better over the past couple of months, flashing the promise he sometimes showed as a member of the Orioles for years. If he’s finally started to recognize his potential, Guthrie could be a real mainstay in the middle of somebody’s pitching rotation, while continuing to pump out quality starts.

James Shields vs Ivan Nova UNDER 9 - $39 for $35
This is an enticing under, and if it wasn’t in Yankee Stadium, where a simple fly-ball could lead to a three-run homer, and more if it snowballs, I’d do it for more. But it is what it is so we’ll have to make do with what we have. James Shields has been remarkable over the second half in pitching more like the elite pitcher we grew accustomed to over the years, and despite his overall average numbers against the Yankees over his career, the fact is that he’s a big-game pitcher who lives for settings like this one, and his most recent outing against New York would suggest he’ll be feeling comfortable upon facing them again so soon. On Sept. 3, Shields held the Yankees in check over eight innings, allowing just three runs and five hits, while striking out five. Like that contest, this is a very crucial game, one in which he’ll certainly bring his best stuff with him. Unfortunately, as it pertains to his opponent today, we’re dealing with the tough variable ofbetting a game that consists of a pitcher making his first start off the DL,which is the case with Ivan Nova. However, I really like Nova, and as I’ve said in the past, I think he can continue to be a good, solid pitcher for a lengthy amount of time. Today’s performance could solidify that, especially going against a rival whom he’s had success against this year (3-1, 2.57 ERA, 1.05 WHIP in three starts versus Tampa), as he tries to rescue his team’s suddenly fainting postseason push.

Anibal Sanchez vs Justin Masterson OVER8.5 - $20 for $21
I was hoping this one would drop to 8, as the extra juice has been on under 8.5 all day and night, but alas, it did not happen. Even so, we can still nail this over, even with room to spare. Anibal Sanchez has been very good with his new club lately, having surrendered just five runs combined in his past four starts spanning 27 innings. However, before that, he was mostly struggling since coming over to Detroit, and I think we have a good chance of more so getting that side out of Sanchez today. If that doesn’t happen, it’s also possible we could get a meltdown from Justin Masterson, who has had as up-and-down a season as any pitcher in the American League this year. In fact, his past six starts have best illustrated that, in giving up six runs or more in every other start during that span, while yielding two or less in the other half of said starts. Going by that trend, it would suggest he’s exactly due to give up two runs or less, but I don’t think that’s going to happen. There’s potential for combustion in this FOX Saturday pitching matchup so hopefully there’s some runs on the board, unlike yesterday’s game after the second inning.

Other 9/15 MLB Over/Under Bets I’m Taking:
Zach Britton vs Jarrod Parker UNDER 7.5 - Price TBD
Drew Pomeranz vs Casey Kelly UNDER 7.5 - Price TBD

**May Add More Over/Under(s) Throughout Day Leading Up To Gametime**

**Remember that if you have a question concerning an over/under, I will gladly assist you with it if I see it before the game starts, even the ones I don't bet on, as I have at least a small vibe on every single over/under from studying this stuff every single day and night**

I'd lean on the over but it's a big there's a big variable in this matchup, that being Jenrry Mejia making his first start in two years tonight. That, and the fact that Shaun Marcum has had success before against the Mets, makes this an over to back away from.

Final game of the evening...

Britton vs Parker UNDER 7.5 - $24 for $20

Afraid of a 6-2 outcome. I see the line changed from its opening line last night

There we go, 4-1 day. However, this momentum will more so be transferred towards my NFL betting, especially since I was 10-2 last week (Including 4-1 in my specialty - over/unders), so be on the look out for that, as well as my daily baseball article, of course.

Should be another action-filled, and extremely successful, Sunday tomorrow

Oh you never have to worry about that lol. I've made it this far doing these daily long baseball over/under articles literally every single day this season so you can bet that I will continue that as the season winds down, not to mention playoffs. On Sundays, though, it's tough to concentrate on baseball with the normal focus that I integrate with it, but even so, I have a solid card for today. Thread being posted now.
