Chicago at Phoenix
6pm eastern Sunday
over 157

There is just one week left in the WNBA season. Neither of these teams will be in the playoffs so they should be happy to get together in Phoenix and play a nice high scoring game to entertain the fans. The last few home games for the Mercury:

Tulsa 176
Conn 178
SA 184

Diana Taurasi hasn't been playing much lately. DeWanna Bonner missed the last game and is questionable with a back injury. The list of injured players also includes Penny Taylor, Sam Prahalis and Candace Dupree.

They should have some fresh legs and ready to play fast in Corey Gaines' system. They have Houston, Sanford, Thomas, Hornbuckle, Gilbreath, Kizer and Simon. The last five names all scored in double figures for the Mercury against Tulsa.

Chicago has played better lately without (pass first/pass second/score third) PG Ticha Penicheiro. Sylvia Fowles has missed some time too. She is a very good player but clogs up the middle on defense. W/O her it should help the Mercury score more.

The Sky do have Swin Cash and Epiphany Prince who have scored well lately. Swords, Vandersloot, Young and Murphy can score as well. Chicago has played overs in 9-1-1 of their last 11 on the road. The last 3:

at LA 163
at Conn 159
at NY 175

The earlier meeting in 2012 ended 84-81 (165 points). I could be wrong and we could see an ugly low scoring game but 157 between these two looks like a nice opportunity for an over if Phoenix can make some 3's and girls like Kizer, Simon and Hornbuckle continue to play well. GL!
