life for a 13 year old.

yea he did kill, but he had no shot from day one, his mom was 12 when he was born and he repeatedly faced abuse.

this is a prime example of environment forming the person.

i would like some rehabilitation to be attempted instead of locking this kid away for life.

either that or just kill him and get it over with.

Kid is hopeless, you'll never rehabilitate someone with this start. I'm sure I could find about a million adults to execute ahead of him.

Life probably means he will be out by 25 committing more felonies and earning his place on death row.

I read this. We should start a thread entitled: The What Is The World Coming To Thread, just for stories like this, there seems to be at least three-per-day.

Really wonder if the child, were put into a loving two parent family today, and the had the help of drs. and what not, if the child (and he is a child), could be saved.

13 seems like such a young age to give up on someone.

Agreed. Parents should be chained to a Ford F350 and dragged through Times Square at 90 MPH as a 'warning' to the rest of us.

I sat here and thought about a family taking him in. Sounds so easy for me to suggest someone else take him in, and show him what a loving 2 parent home is.

But if I had a young child at home, would I be willing to bring this young man into my home?

Doubtful.

sad to say but it sounds like the kid did us a favor by taking out his brother.

a lifetime in prison for this kid sounds like a much better life for this kid and for us.

f'ed up situation all around.

When his mother was pregnant at 12, how did someone NOT force her to abort? Crazy.

what a sad story, kid never had a shot from jump and as horrible as it feels to say this he probably saved his brother a terrible life. Brother was just 2, how many more years of various forms of abuse and neglect would he have faced. Coked up grandmother should've aborted the daughter and saved 3 lives. I hate the idea of writing off any kid that young, but sounds like he's made that switch to sociopath, he's learned to shut off his feelings and not give a fk, once you can't relate to what it is to feel what normal people feel you're gone.

Regardless of the horrible environment the kid may have been brought up in, he's still a nut job who would probably kill someone later in life if he hadn't of done it now...

I agree. Bringing an unwanted child into this world is not good. Let the animals abort all they want. The government should even offer incentives for these animals to get their tubes ties and get vasectomies.

Children are -EV

Foster Children are off the charts -EV

I'd much rather deal with providing a foster home for neglected animals instead of humans.

very sad, I for one have no problem saying that the current state of affairs in our great nation are rubbish and getting worse. I also feel that we all know the reasons why, yet we cannot speak of them without being labeled (sp).

This is the main problem in the US and around the world today. People having children they cannot financially and emotionally care for. What happens next, is these kids are then are at high risk for becoming a problem to society and they have children and the problem exponentially gets worse.

It's truly a sad situation.

No one should even dream of having children unless they can both financially and emotionally without question care for them.
