2012 MLB O/U Record: 335-308-40, -$1,614 (Was making much bigger bets earlier in the year, with countless fluke bad breaks, obviously. I also undoubtedly lead the country in half-run/one-run losses)
2011 MLB O/U Record: 366-270-42, +$1,104

Fine 1-0-1 performance yesterday, considering most of my focus was directed towards last night’s Broncos/Falcons over, which I wisely bought down to 48 to score a push. If only I could buy runs in baseball over/unders… and yes, I know they allow you to do that on 5dimes, but I don’t like going through sites like that because they can be such a hassle, especially when I have a perfectly good set-up with my bookie on ace23.com, hence why I stay there. But yeah, that’s the advantage football over/unders arguably has over any sport is that you can buy points anywhere, as opposed to basketball over/unders where buying points isn’t as significant because there’s countless more points involved, and apparently, just about every place doesn’t give you that option for baseball and hockey, unfortunately. Oh well, it’s Tuesday, meaning it’s time to put all my concentration back into baseball for the next several days (I don’t usually take the NFL Thursday night game), so let’s see what we have to work with…

Fernando Abad vs Kyle Lohse OVER 8/8.5 - Price TBD
I'll be waiting on this one to see if the line goes down to 8.5, like it should, considering Kyle Lohse is involved, but even if it doesn't, I'll still go for it. Yes, Lohse is very good, as evident in how he has sustained his beautiful numbers (14-3, 2.81 ERA, 1.09 WHIP), but all I would really want from Houston's offense is a couple of runs anyway. They've been playing much better lately over the past week-plus (6-4 in their last 10), and they've beat some pretty elite pitchers over that stretch (Johnny Cueto! Roy Halladay!), so they're certainly capable of scratching across at least a few against Lohse at this point in time. In any case, this over is all about getting my anticipated dreadful performance out of Fernando Abad. If you've seen a significant amount of Astros games over the past few years, and you've seen this kid pitch out of the bullpen, you would realize that he is as ordinary and ineffective as they get. He's not good. St. Louis is good against left-handed pitching, and given the importance of this game to them, they will not squander any easy opportunities as it pertains to gaining ground in the Wild Card race, thus meaning their offense will play with a huge amount of urgency and strike Abad as much as they can. They can be a grind-em-out lineup, and I think that approach can lead to a nice boatload of runs for them tonight.

**May Add More Over/Under(s) Throughout Day Leading Up To Gametime**

**Remember that if you have a question concerning an over/under, I will gladly assist you with it if I see it before the game starts, even the ones I don't bet on, as I have at least a small vibe on every single over/under from studying this stuff every single day and night**

Gl Cat. Any lean on Tigers total? My weather thing is showing 27 mph wind blowing out. In ny the wind is bad as well but those games were canceled

Would take the under of Griffin vs Scherzer of it was 8, but it's 7.5 and 5-3 is possible so I'm laying off

What about the OVER 9 in Minnesota/Cleveland???

Would definitely lean over in Walters vs Huff but I recall last year (AND maybe even the year before as well) that Huff excels when he's first thrusted back into a rotation spot. That unfamiliarity and time away from the bigs really helps David Huff

Unfortunately, "inclement weather" has wiped out my two 7 o'clock games (Harang vs Zimmermann under 8 and Cloyd vs Harvey over 8) so ill be laying off the 7 o'clock slate. Will be back in a bit with my card

Not surprised. As usual, the over/unders I don't take, but comment on, win significantly more times than not. Ugh.

In brighter news, the game I did a write-up on actually cooperated with my hopes of the line going down...

Abad vs Lohse OVER 8 - $33 for $30

No pressure, but I blindly tailed you, know nothing about you, and never bet baseball. I liked your write-up, and by the bottom of the 2nd, I was already questioning my sanity in playing this game.

Good Luck though!

Lol well I apologize in advance if it loses but this was a weak day for over/unders... It's very rare that I only take one game, let alone for a small amount, and that was probably my shortest write-up in awhile. Most of my write-ups for lone games are usually 800-1,200 words so I definitely wasn't feeling this one as much as most... hope we can still get it

I'd say we're done, even if it was to cause the reverse jinx, but there has really not been many opportunities to get this one done and I am assuming that revolved around the Houston pitcher throwing well enough to scatter the hits. Oh well.......good luck in the future and come see on the football board.....that's my game.

Baseball Over/Unders are my clear No. 1 but with a ton of less pressure, since I have little expectations for it, it appears I'm on track for a superb football season (15-10-1 overall so far, including 6-4-1 in over/unders, which is my main strength in every sport) so check out mine as well.

Again, sorry for the loss but in all honesty, this was probably one of the top ten worst days all season to tail me, since I only took one game (For a small amount, too) and didn't really have a feel for the rest other than that Walters vs Huff over (Undefeated with PJ Walters this year so not sure why I ignored that vibe ughh)

GL with your football as well. Feel free to check out my baseball over/unders any day there's no football action - trust me, you'll know when there's a big over/under to tail. This game tonight had my smallest write-up and I exhibited no enthusiasm for it. If I permitted myself to take a day off from over/unders, which I have taken none of ALL season, this absolutely would've been one of those rare occurrences
