Minny +124 vs Cleve / Kluber

Since break - MN has won 9 of 11 vs Tribe...winning all 4 series and possibly sweeping 2 of them pending Thursday's day game. Indians are about the only team they can beat besides KC.

Cleve 17-47 since break.....Late July 6-12 / Aug 5-24 (seriously??) / Sept so far 6-12. If they played an entire season at these numbers they would lose 118 games. The '62 Mets lost 120 for worst modern day record. They completely and totally collapsed about 50 games ago when they were only 3-1/2 out of first place in the AL Central. Presently have worst AL record courtesy of losing L2 to Minny.

Sanchez is no prize at that keeps this from being a larger play for me. He was a decent starter at AAA Rochester and has 3 MLB starts going 0-2 with one team W vs Indians & Kluber on 9-9-12. Kluber has team record of 1-8 and 0-5 @ home. Avg runs scored for 2.2 and against 7.2 in those 5 home starts.

Mauer on a tear lately hitting .486 L10 and now in 3rd @ .325 behind Cabrera .333 and Trout at .327. Minny also 4th in hitting in AL in Sept.

Thanks VB...yes Esmerling Vasquez not Sanchez.... I guess I was looking at other day AL game (Sanchez vs Milone) and put down wrong name.

Lots of promise. Almost had quality start vs Chisox last time out. His problem is throwing strikes but Anderson will get him to do that in time. Would not be surporised for him to be on a short leash if he gives to many free passes.

This could be a shitshow of pitching. Esmerling Vasquez, as I've detailed before, is someone I absolutely loved as a reliever for years with Arizona, even after the infamous "Walk-Off Balk" in 2010. He's been about what I expected as a starter so far, a guy who kind of hangs in there, but allows too many walks, which is his main issue. Not sure when he's going to realize it, which is why I think it's best to take a wait-and-see approach because he hasn't really made any significant progress just yet.

Corey Kluber, meanwhile, is one of the worst regular starting pitchers in baseball, as I've wrote about many times, so betting against him is always a solid bet. GL with Vasquez today, I hope he takes that next step forward as a Major League starter

Lol I wish you the best of luck sir. But I would never bet that much on a game involving two very unsteady and unpredictable forces like Esmerling Vasquez and Corey Kluber

I agree line does not make any sense....how is Tribe favored?? IMO this is a pick'em. I can see the Tribe TT play although I choose to play MN over 4 -140.
