I posted a thread about this a couple months ago and not no response.

I was wondering the same thing. It says it runs off Att and Sprint networks.

I just find it strange that it runs off of ATT and Sprint, they are two totally different networks.

The only catch I can see is they don't give you a phone.

i know people that have this and also cricket and they should be ashamed to even make a call to someone...Don't know why,but when i am trying to talk to these people it sounds like crap and cuts out often...I don't even have to ask what carrier they use because i can tell immediately...Like i said i don't know why as they claim to use the big boys same network...But just my experience...I am long time cell phone user back to the days where i carried a huge bag around like some type of faeg and sat in on a table in many a sports bar...I have had almost every carrier during the last 20 years and until i went with Verizon 10 years ago had nothing but problems with them...Verizon is the real deal and actually one of the only companies in america that can back up what they claim in their ads..

I believe that At&t and Verizon are basically the same. Have coverage in the same areas now for the most part, and both customer service suck.

The only reason I have At&t over Verizon is because those Verizon cocksuckers dug up my front lawn installing fiber optic cabling in the neighborhood and destroyed my front yard and left their garbage all over. Ever since then I have negative feelings towards Verizon.

haha funny you say that as i have a friend they did the exact same thing...As far as customer service goes i have never had a problem with verizon...Because i don't think i have even had to call them maybe twice in 10 years?

I talk 2500 + minutes a month on my Cell ... I use it for work. I have had the Walmart straight talk plan for 2 years ... on the Verizon network. Saves me at least $250 a month. It is based on which phone you buy ... ask the sales person which ones are on Verizon, they can tell you.

You sure?

I thought Sprint was CDMA and At&t was GSM?

I believe Verizon uses something like CDMA

Verizon CDMA for talk text and 3G date, 4G LTE for 4G data
Sprint CDMA for talk text and 3G data,, 4G LTE for data
Cricket CDMA
Metro PCS CDMA

ATT GSM
T-Mobile GSM

For CDMA phones, they are carrier specific, so if you have a verizon phone it will only work on Verizon. The frequencies and antenna are different.
For GSM if you "unlock" the phone it can be used on any GSM network.

That is why a GSM iphone has more value than a CDMA. Most of the world uses GSM. Vodafone is the worlds biggest carrier and is GSM.

Good to hear from an actual user, I think I'll give them a shot or at least try to get my current carrier down to $45.
