I'm a android type of guy, so I lean the Samsung ( which I plan on getting this week )

Iphone 5 looks good and better than the past Iphones. But the Galaxy 3 looks better and I like their features. Sharing Pictures and Files by just touching another Galaxy is pretty cool.

and don't forget the Camera ... it shoots like having an automatic, so if you like shooting Action Photos, it's Great

I just like the fact that it has a removable battery, you can expand the memory if you want. And I can download movies and put them on the phone if I want. whereas with apple you have to buy everything. and it seems most apps are free on the android. It seems like a no brainer to go samsung, but it's like im brainwashed to want an iphone.

I can confirm the iPhone 5is a great improvement over the 4. I'm a Mac guy though.

I'm a mac guy as well this is why it's such a tough decision. Plus the iphone5 won't make it to CR for awhile. But all the techs in the office swear by the android.

Yeah, think for power users (this is not meant as an insult - just that phones mean different things to different people) Android is the way to go.

If you have an IMAC and an IPAD you have to get the IPHONE for the integration that APPLE products have with each other. There is no way you can get the Sammy to integrate with the rest of your technology like an IPHONE

You can do it with 3rd party software but you will constantly have to update it to keep it working.
With the new IO6 you can sync your IPHONE, IPAD, and IMAC wirelessly.
Any document you have on your IMAC or IPAD will automatically save to your IPHONE with no effort.

If you download a song on your IPAD it will automatically show up on your IPHONE and IMAC.
Any reminder notes on any device will show up on all devices.

Not saying DROID is not a good phone, but for anyone who is invested in the APPLE ecosystem would be a fool to switch to a droid because all the things I said above you cant do with a droid.

If you have a 3GS you would not believe how much better a 5 is then what you have now.

So if I don't have any apple products...it would be smart to go with the galaxy?

I have a droid 3 now.

How much is google nav on iphone?

Also, my I.T. guy at my work can unlock iphones so if I would get the iphone 5 it would be unlocked...What does this exactly mean?...you get everything free?

google nav isnt available on iphone. you would have to use their new "maps" which is turning out to have alot of flaw or the service VZ navagator from verizon for $10 a month.

Unlocking means you can use it on any GSM phone.
Jailbreaking lets you do some nerdy stuff that the phone wasnt intended to do

And as far as apple goes, nothing is free and they make it very difficult

I traded my Iphone to SG 3 and I have mac pcs . I got so frustrated with the integration with apple,I returned it the next day. If you have verizon I think you lose the unlimited data. I went back to my iphone 4s

Looks like the apple Iphone5 wont be in cr for awhile and if so wont really make a difference with the 3g network they have here. I think the Iphone 4s is what im going to go with alot cheaper than the samsung3 down here. Will be heading to the mall afterwork to check them both out. and yes im a tech retard so probably wiser to stay with my mac filled house.
